Origin Story
St. Gabriel is the angel of the Annunciation, the messenger who brought to Mary the good news that the Word would become flesh. This novena turns to him for help in present necessities and for the grace to receive God's message with clarity, reverence, and faithful obedience.
Instructions
Traditionally prayed from March 15 through March 23 in preparation for the feast of St. Gabriel on March 24.
This novena is especially fitting for Annunciation season, vocation questions, message-bearing tasks, discernment, and present necessities.
Pray the same St. Gabriel prayer each day, then say one Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory Be.
It may be offered when asking for clarity, a faithful yes to God, or a better understanding of the mystery of the Incarnation.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. O blessed Archangel Gabriel, we beseech thee, do thou intercede for us at the throne of divine mercy in our present necessities, that as thou didst announce to Mary the mystery of the Incarnation, so through thy prayers and patronage in heaven we may obtain the benefits of the same, and sing the praise of God forever in the land of the living.
